Italian gyro stabilization technology specialist Smartgyro will debut its range of advanced marine stabilizers at this year's Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

Introducing key benefits and breakthrough design features in line with the company's mission to elevate the entire onboard experience, Smartgyro will launch the first two gyroscopic stabilizers in the SG range to the Australian market for the first time at the show from 20th to 23rd May.

Visitors will be able to learn more about the current models - the SG40, for boats from 50ft to 60ft, and the SG80, for boats from 60ft to 70ft - and will also have the opportunity to view the stabilizer's display on demonstration mode. YANMAR-backed Smartgyro will also preview the upcoming expansion of the portfolio with new units for smaller vessels soon bringing superior stabilization across a range of boats from 30ft to 80ft.

Smartgyro Sales Manager Carlo Gazerro said: "Australia is a key market for us, so we are looking forward to revealing the unique capabilities of Smartgyro to visitors and industry contacts at Sanctuary Cove. We believe that our gyro stabilizers bring new and innovative technology to the sector which can transform the marine experience for boaters and introduce exciting installation and design integration opportunities for builders.

"Whether your passion is entertaining, overnighting, cruising, fishing or any activity onboard, the Smartgyro stabilizers will enhance every moment on the water and deliver a comfortable, safe and seamless onboard experience. We are inviting everyone to visit the stand and feel the magic of the SG range."

The Smartgyro stabilizers combine advanced mechanical, electronic and aesthetic characteristics to create a high-performance product with a long operating life. The sophisticated models minimize boat roll in all sea conditions, while also offering unique installation and maintenance advantages.

Ideal for both new builds and refit installations, the outstanding advantage of the units is that all maintenance operations can be performed on-board, significantly reducing downtime and service costs, and extending product life. Featuring a modular mechanical design, the compact stabilizers can be assembled directly inside the boat, creating new design opportunities for builders and increasing the potential for installation in vessels with small access spaces. The SG range also features design innovations within the control electronics, braking system, cooling system and vacuum enclosure to maximize roll reduction and efficiency.

Smartgyro's attendance at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show follows the recent appointment of Pacific Maritime Solutions as its first dealer in Australia. PMS General Manager Damienn Plahn will be available on the Smartgyro stand to answer questions.

Learn more about the SG40 and SG80 and ask for details on the SG10 and SG20 at this year's Sanctuary Cove Boat Show on Booth 265B The Pavilions.

Smartgyro is backed by strategic partner YANMAR Group and its companies, including Vetus, Maxwell and Flexofold.
