Seasoned charter specialist, Rebecca Montgomery has joined Luxury Charter Group as Charter Executive, focusing on drawing Australians to experience the delights of yacht charter vacations.

Rebecca recently moved to Australia from Monaco where she had lived for the past 30 years. 15 of those years were spent working her way up the ranks of Camper & Nicholsons International, where her mother, Jillian Montgomery was CEO.

During that time, Rebecca developed an unrivalled intellectual knowledge and impressive network within the industry, respected by all for her work ethic, knowledge of destinations and connections with yacht managers and crew involved in the international charter yacht fleet.

Rebecca now calls the Gold Coast home, and she is eager to "open up the world of charter to Australian clients".

"I was always intrigued by this part of the world and the time was right to move to Australia."

Rebecca was enjoying "semi-retirement" when Jeni Tidmarsh, CEO at Luxury Charter Group approached her to join her team, which comprises Charter Executives in Europe, the US and NZ.

"Working with Luxury Charter Group is the ideal role for me," Rebecca says. "My specialty is building rapport with clients, working with them to ensure an optimal charter experience.

"Charter is not just about the yachts, the 'hardware'," she continues. "It's about providing our Clients a customised experience, matching the right yacht to meet their aspirations, and creating the ultimate bespoke holiday experience.

"There are no mysteries. Clients have access to our vast knowledge of yachts and destinations worldwide at no extra cost, and we are diligent to ensure the booking process will be easy and enjoyable. We provide personalised itineraries and our intellectual knowledge ensures satisfaction and enjoyment." "Australians are eager to learn more about yacht charter," explains Jeni Tidmarsh who is at the helm of Luxury Charter Group.

Jeni has been yachting since 1975 and in the charter industry for over 30 years. The company has its foundation in international cruising, travel, charter and managing yachts and is now a recognised global independent charter specialist.

"In normal times, we inspect over 500 charter yachts every year attending charter shows all around the world. Together our worldwide Team of professionals has over 100 years collective charter experience.

"Charter is the perfect vacation, even during this era of travel restrictions due to Covid," observes Jeni.

"It's a private holiday, crews are impeccably trained in hygiene protocols, guests can enjoy cruising to various destinations in complete safety and seclusion. It's the ideal answer to self-distancing on holiday."

According to Jeni, Rebecca has the perfect complement of qualities, expertise and enthusiasm for charter to demystify the charter process and the role of Brokers.

"Rebecca will be introducing the brilliant charter opportunities for Australians here, and then once travel regulations ease, showing them the wonders of charter in the rest of the world."
