In a year where we have seen so many events cancelled, we pleased to announce a new dinghy event to be held in Torquay over the weekend October 3rd - 4th for all PY Dinghies - Asymmetric, Symmetric classes. The event will incorporate the Torbay Contender Open, a qualifying event for the National Travellers Trophy.

We look forward to welcoming sailors to come and join us at this event and enjoy racing on some of the finest sailing water in the world.

  • Easy and quick access to the race areas from the sheltered harbour
  • Club, car park and town centre are all within a short walk from the harbour
  • Free berthing and dinghy parking

Over many years, the Royal Torbay Yacht Club has established a well-deserved reputation in hosting top class regattas and championships, and in recent years have hosted the J/70 Worlds. RS200s, Fireballs, 4000s, 2000s, Albacores, Lasers, 420s, 29ers and many more.

We will be pulling out all the stops to make this another great event for Torbay.
