Zeelander Yachts deliver new Z55 with Sinot-designed interior

by Zeelander Yachts 30 Jul 2020 18:32 BST

Zeelander Yachts has delivered another luxurious 17-meter Z55 yacht with a special interior design to a proud owner based on the US East Coast.

Effortless style, timeless design and high-end solutions are key features embodied in every boat built by Zeelander Yachts. The new unit of the Z55 model with the marine classic Flag Blue colored hull from the Dutch shipyard is no exception.

Zeelander Yachts is far from your typical production builder; its yachts are limited and each one of them is treated to a superyacht level. The new 17-meter Z55, in turn, has an exclusive interior design by the renowned Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Sinot has created interiors for several superyachts, including Feadship's 92-meter Aquarius and 87-meter Lonian, Heesen Yachts' flagship Galactica Super Nova and Hakvoort's Just J's, among many other projects.

The Dutch design studio is famous for clean looks, strong oriental influence and understated luxury all over. This is exactly what they implemented on board the new Z55. The decor is all neutral tones to make the space feel even larger and more inviting. The classic layout has three cabins on the lower deck, including a full-beam master cabin with ensuite bathroom.

"We are glad how our collaboration with Sinot went out," said Sietse Koopmans, Chairman and Founder of Zeelander Yachts. "They did an amazing contemporary interior and managed to put their Superyacht experience into a 55-foot yacht."

The social areas are spacious and designed with a great attention to detail. The main saloon with a 360-degree view overlooks the surroundings by virtue of panoramic windows. The yacht has both inside and outside dining areas and there is plenty of space for sunbathing. There is an alfresco lounge on the aft with comfortable white couches and luxurious table with a stunning lacquered mahogany tabletop and stainless-steel detailing. It can be used as a coffee table, raised all the way up to serve as a dining table or converted into a large sunbed. The main deck's layout is very efficient and convenient. It's a spacious, single-level area where all social space, including a dining, galley, bar, sunbeds and beach club, are interconnected in a graceful fashion.

The Z55 is equipped with a Seakeeper stabilizer to eliminate rolling and maximize comfort. In addition, the boat has 4G-5G Wi-Fi receiver and antennas on board to guarantee a fast and reliable internet connection.

As every other yacht, Zeelander designed the Z55 exterior with the award-winning Cor D Rover. The new unit has the most powerful engines available with a pair of 1,000hp Volvo Penta IPS 1350. The efficient propulsion in combination with a deep-V hull allows reaching the top speed of 42 knots. At the same time, the range is over 500 nautical miles at 28 knots.

The yacht is very efficient in terms of fuel consumption. She needs under 50 US gallons (or about 189 liters) per hour running at the solid 25 knots.

Zeelander always had a strong position in the US market. And although Zeelander Yachts' boats are hassle free to run, there is always someone from the North American department, in combination with multiple service hubs, to grant owners the 24/7 service they should expect from a high-end yacht builder. The yachts are also designed and engineered that all parts are available in the USA.
