What was your most spectacular capsize?

Capsize, wipe out, broach, pitchpole, going down the mine... call it what you will, these moments of unexpected wetness can usually make us smile afterwards. It would be great to share any of these unintended antics which were caught on camera. We all need a smile this month!

YachtsandYachting.com would love you to send us your best (worst?) photos, to share with the world. We want to remind everyone of the fun that our sport can bring. You can see two prime examples of amusing scenes on this page, but your own contribution would be very welcome, particularly if you can tell us a little about the event you were at and the situation leading up to the moment of drama.

We do need to know the photographers name, and check that they give permission for the image to be published in this manner. Please send us the largest file you can.

It may be that you've already seen your photo on our website in the past. Check our photo archive using the search features, and hunt it down. Click on the photo to open it up full size, and then you can then send us the direct link (which will look something like www.yachtsandyachting.com/photo/12345 with your own particular number on the end). Tell us the link and a few words about your feelings in that moment!
