Like so many areas of our life, classic yachting has been badly effected by the lock-down, with many unable to complete refits on their yachts for the 2020 sailing season, whenever that may start.

Jonty & Vicki Sherwill took advantage of the Classic Yacht Repatriation Scheme to get their beautiful dayboat home to allow them to work on the hull as Jonty described:

"Amazing service, a Chinook helicopter has just arrived over our house to deliver Cockleshell to our garden so Vicki and I can fit her out while we self isolate. Perfect. All part of the government's support for classic yachting during the lockdown. Not many slots left and you must apply before midday. Looking forward to seeing you all on the start line later in the year. Stay safe."
