Jonquil, built traditionally to the famous Nat Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 25 design in 1988, has taken out top honours in this year's 2020 ABD Group Classic Yacht Regatta, winning the Peters & May Trophy for the best performing yacht overall on handicap, and the American Flag for the best performing American-designed yacht.

This year's regatta, held from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th March, saw four races over three days, with near perfect sailing conditions in fantastic late summer weather. Thirty nine entries were received, up by five from last year, which is a great sign for the growing classic fleet.

Congratulations also to all other divisional winners, skippers and crews, and many thanks to everyone for helping contribute to a great weekend of classic sailing on the Waitemata. .
