A new season of SORC sailing is upon us, bringing with it a mix of tradition and change for the 2019-2020 Islands in the Stream Series. Further information here on all of our races and the series.

The series will once again kick off with the Nassau Cup Ocean Race, starting on Thursday, November 14th, 2019. Get in on the action and on Saturday, enjoy a day of J-22 match racing followed by the awards party at Nassau Yacht Club. This is the 78th edition of the race and we are expecting a good-sized fleet of IRC/ORC/PHRF boats along with Multihulls who will be racing under the MORCA rules. Sign up today!! www.nassaucuprace.org

The Wirth M Munroe Palm Beach Race is up next, and the "Race to the Buffett" starts on Friday December 6. Do not miss out on the Sailfish Club of Florida's legendary party, feast and awards presentation. www.sailfishclub.com/munroe

The series then heads south for some island time in January with the Ft. Lauderdale to Key West Race on January 23, 2020. The tropics in January provide the perfect spot to unwind with the Conch Grinder Race, and to enjoy the treasures and pleasures of Key West before the awards party at First Flight Island Bar and Restaurant (formerly Kelly's Caribbean). www.keywestrace.org

It all wraps up with another trip to the Bahamas with the Inaugural Eleuthera Race, starting off South Beach, Miami on March 11, 2020 and finishing at the Cape Eleuthera Resort and Marina. The race and series awards party will take place on the beach overlooking Exuma Sound. www.eleutherarace.org

Online entries are open and Notices of Race will post soon. The Notice of Series is posted. Come join us for another season of hot action and cool destinations, and see if you can be the next SORC Islands in the Stream Series Champion.

Thank you to our host clubs, Coral Reef Yacht Club, Nassau Yacht Club, Storm Trysail Club, Biscayne Bay Yacht Club, Sailfish Club of Florida, and Lauderdale Yacht Club for all of your support.
