Saturday morning: with a good force 3 for race 1, Alex Scoles led a small bunch inshore, while the rest headed out into the Wash. First at the windward mark was Terry Curtis, closely followed by Chris Arnell and Alex Scoles who had reached in after misjudging the tide. Terry went on to win from Chris and Alex third.

Race two was similar to race one with Terry leading from start to finish, Chris second and Mike Edwards overtaking Alex on the last beat to take third. Fifth place went to Neil Goodhead.

In race three Terry and Chris headed the fleet with Andy Turner, Mike, Alex, and Neil all close behind. The reaches and runs gave great surfing conditions which let Alex pull away from Mike, and Tony Rich got a dip as he rolled in down the run. Terry won, Chris second and Alex third.

Sunday saw light conditions; with Alex reaching the windward mark first, followed by Chris Arnell. Alex got away and took first. All very close together, Chris was second and Andy pipped Terry on the line.

No more races were sailed as the wind died and the fleet drifted home.
