Forty years of history at Lymington Town Sailing Club

Forty years of sailing club history was celebrated when eleven former commodores of the Lymington Town Sailing Club (LTSC) were invited for lunch by the current commodore Peter Upcher and his flag officers on Friday, March 24. They were:

  • Hugh Carter(1982-1984)
  • Barry Dutton(1988-1999)
  • Bob Tanner(1989-1991)
  • Jim Fleming (1991-1992)
  • Neil Flux(1992-1995)

  • Joe Blachford (1996-1999)
  • Robin Pratt (1999-2002)
  • Simon Ward (2002-2005)

Sailors from as far afield as Germany, Switzerland, Scotland and the Isle of Man Last weekend saw Lymington Town SC host 24 women for the RS Aero UK Women's Championship and coaching weekend.
