What is the ICC?

The International Certificate of Competence (ICC) is the RYA's recommended internationally recognised proof of boating competence. Many countries, such as Croatia and Greece, require skippers to hold proof of competence to charter a yacht. If you are already an RYA Day Skipper, you can send the paperwork to the RYA, who will issue you with an ICC certificate.

ICC destinations

We offer our ICC courses all round the world. Develop and hone your skills at one of our bases in Australia, Greece, Croatia or Portsmouth. From beginners to advanced sailors, everyone can learn to sail or improve their skills on a Sunsail course. All our staff are RYA-qualified and offer a fun, professional approach to courses, that helps you get the most out of learning more about sailing.
