The new Henri Lloyd Flex 3D Jacket has been nominated by the jury for a DAME Award 2015. This follows the success from the 2013 DAME Awards when Henri Lloyd received a special mention for the Henri Lloyd Elite Jacket.
The Henri Lloyd Flex 3D Jacket is one of 51 products that have been nominated to go forward for final judging by the Jury of the silver jubilee edition of the prestigious DAME Design Award competition. The products have been selected from a total of 110 entries from 24 nationalities and the jury will eventually choose up to seven Category Winners and one Overall Winner. These will be announced during the METS Breakfast Briefing on Tuesday 17th November 2015.
The Henri Lloyd Flex 3D Jacket is the first of its generation in this new era of product technology. The jacket features ground-breaking thermal non flattening "spiral" wadding which retains loft under stretch, and is proven to be 33% more effective than its predecessor.
The other main feature is the jacket's stretch properties, the Flex 3D outer fabric and internal wadding offers a 4 way mechanical stretch, which when combined with a full stretch thread provides a multi dimensional stretch. The space in-between your shoulder blades stretches by 16%, Flex 3D provides 15% stretch in yarn, fabric & thread, which in turns delivers complete freedom of movement, unprecedented athletic mobility and offers immense comfort.
Since its introduction in 1991, the DAME Award has become recognized worldwide as the leading international competition of its type within the field of marine equipment and accessories.
