After more than 10 years and attendance at over 1,000 sailing events in the UK and elsewhere, Fotoboat is to call it a day. At its peak, 15 photographers all over the UK contributed to the Fotoboat website and attended well over 100 events per year.
Mike Rice, Fotoboat's founder said "This is a sad day, but it may allow me to do more sailing myself than I have been able to for the last 10 years. I am very grateful to all the photographers who have contributed to the site and thanks must also go to the clubs and classes who have made us welcome at events and, of course, to all the sailors who have kept us going by ordering images online."
The current Fotoboat site will close early in 2015. Before then, you still have a chance to acquire a superb souvenir of your sailing at a bargain price.
