Saturday 22nd November dawned grey and damp with a falling wind. Race 7 of the Parkstone Flying Fifteen autumn series was always going to be a light affair. Sitting to leeward and in the bilges was the order of the day. A strong falling ebb tide compounded the problems facing the 20 strong fleet. The fleet unusually were well spread out.
An excellent first went to Christina Moncur and Steve Moncur with newcomers Gerry Philbrick and Jane Montgomery in second. David Tabb and Chewey Sherrell took the last podium spot by overtaking an improving race by race Steve and Lisa Randle.
3 ladies in the top four boats showing that the Flying Fifteen is an all round boat for all couples and crews of all ages.
