Firefly open meeting at West Oxfordshire Sailing Club - Preview

This Saturday 25th gives the last opportunity to race in the year-long Firefly Vines series at West Oxfordshire S.C.
A double opportunity: hone boat speed before the winter Team Racing season kicks off in earnest and with the Vines series prize winners getting a brand new set of sails the competition in this deciding event is likely to be hot!
The water at WOSC provides close racing enlivened by shifty winds. There could be up to 11 club boats racing which will hopefully provide some good opposition for the visitors.
The first race will start at 11:30. There will be two further races starting at approximately 1:45.
Each race will last approximately 1 hour and refreshments will be available from the galley between races.
If all three races are sailed then there will be one discard. Presentations will take place as soon as possible after the last race.
Registration will be possible from 9:30 on Saturday morning.
