Clear skies, bright sunshine and a steady onshore force 2 to 3 provided near perfect conditions for the 29 competitors who turned out at Red Wharf Bay, on Anglesey, on Sunday.
The 3.5km course tested all, with a cross tide beat, followed by a downtide reach, and finally an uptide inshore broad reach. The cats and larger monos managed 2 laps, whilst the Toppers, Teras and Otters managed 1 lap.
The young men of the Club did not achieve their potential performance as their participation in this event was the final part of Dyfrig Mon's stag weekend. The Club wish Dyfrig and Julie their best wishes for the future.
The racing was won by Steve Norris in his Phantom, followed by Peter Haliwell and Natalia Gomez in a 2000. 3rd was David Griffiths and Gill Davies (parents of the groom) in their 2000.
