For only the second time this year P&B's Dave Wade along with new crew Ben Raynor sailed the Merlin Rocket. Ahead of a busy Merlin Rocket season for P&B the aim was to fine tune the boat, improve technique and get good boat speed. For these reasons Dave's 'Kit of the Week' is the Twin Spinno Pole Launcher. Designed to make gybing effortless, this pole system is fast becoming a 'must have' for many sailors across different classes. Dave and Ben were happy with their set up and put in plenty of smooth Gybes whilst also testing a development Merlin Spinnaker.
