Rooster 8.1 Nationals to be held at London Corinthian SC in November

The two-day Rooster 8.1 Nationals will be hosted by London Corinthian Sailing Club at Linden House, Upper Mall, Hammersmith. 40 places are available.

Since 2007, the Rooster 8.1 has been a new class of rig, designed to be compatible with the Laser hull, but offering amazing performance with a monster rig.

London Corinthian SC is pleased to announce that it is hosting the 2013 Nationals for the Rooster 8.1. Racing consists of up to 5 races per day, sailed back to back for overall, over 45's and women's categories. Start Saturday 11.00; start Sunday 11.30. Three races will form part of the Rooster series i.e. Bloody Mary, Weir Wood Rooster Open and LCSC Rooster Nationals.

Entry for Lasers requiring conversion, for Rooster 8.1's and the Event Registration can be completed by registering at roosternationals.lcsc.org.uk. Rig conversions supplied by Rooster, will be available for £15, organised via LCSC. Sailing Instructions will be emailed to all competitors once registered.

  • 2nd November, 11.00am start – Windward/Leeward racing
  • 3rd November, 11.30am start - Windward/Leeward racing
  • Prize giving at 15:15 on Sunday

Shore-side organisation includes secure accommodation for boat storage, welcome and shore party.
