Experience fantastic one-design racing in the 2013 Sunsail Racing Series

by Terry Hunt, Sunsail 16 Aug 2013 08:49 BST 16 August 2013

Experience some fantastic one design racing in one of the world's premier sailing waters.

Hot off the back of a fantastic Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week, the Sunsail F40 fleet take to the waters of the Solent again this weekend for Round 5 of the Sunsail Racing Series.

This weekend and Round 7 in October are sold out, but we do have F40's for charter for Round 6, the 21st & 22nd September and Round 8, the 19th & 20th October.

The charter fee is only £1170. Come and enjoy some spectacular one design round the cans racing in the Solent and for 2013 we have upped the number of races over the weekend to a maximum of 7 with 4 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday, creating even closer racing amongst the fleet, with the top successful teams then qualifying for the final in November.

So far 11 teams have already booked their places for November's final and yet again, the standard is going to be high.

For Round 6 in September, we are also entering a Sunsail skippered boat. So if you cannot raise a full team, there are places on board offering a great way to get into racing and maybe learn some new skills.
