We have been working hard to develop new parts for the Olympic 49er and the new women's Olympic skiff the 49er FX.
Boat breaker – our new boat breaker makes it easy to apply the high rig tensions carried by both rigs. Made with larger section box tube, carrying larger blocks and utilising larger diameter line the new boat breaker makes it manageable for even the smallest sailor to tune their boat. Bluewave turnbuckles – these newly designed turnbuckles are easier to adjust under load than previous versions and have built in handles to allow for accurate adjustment both afloat and ashore. Made out of high quality stainless steel – strong and long lasting – suitable for main and cap shrouds as well as lower shrouds.
Wings out top cover – with the regatta circuit well and truly underway for both the Olympic hopefuls and the weekend warriors it's time to think about a 'wings out' top cover. You can keep everything covered away and protect your wings from the UV whilst bolted out during regattas and training sessions. This lightweight cover is quick and easy to put on and store whilst not in use. See the details here.
Rudder pin – new rudder pin made out of stainless M8 rod with a bolt and threaded end. This enables sailors to eliminate vertical play in the rudder system- especially useful at the high speeds encountered in these boats!
