Ovington Boats sign Phantom Class build contract

The Phantom Class Association voted at its AGM in 2012 to purchase the moulds for the Phantom dinghy to secure the long term future for the Class.
Ovington Boats have been building the Phantom as a sub contract builder since 2007 and have built over 130 boats in that time. Ovington were the obvious choice to continue the build for the foreseeable future.
To celebrate the signing of the supply contract Ovington will be offering the standard Phantom hull previously supplied at £3899.00 for a discounted price of £3545.00 for orders taken at the RYA Dinghy Show this weekend 2nd-3rd of March.
On display at the show will be the fully fitted Ovington 'Works' boat sailed by Chris Turner at the 2012 Nationals. This boat features Harken fittings, DEM foils, an Ovington CST mast & boom and rounded off with a P&B sail. Fully fitted Phantoms will be shortly available from Ovington direct with a pre-measured, ready to roll package including one year's Class membership.
