On 11th November Blackwater SC held its EGM to elect flag officers for 2013. Current Vice Commodore, Paul Trueman was elected Commodore, current Rear Commodore, Chris Nichols steps up to Vice Commodore and Richard Pusey becomes the new Rear Commodore.

The new Commodore, Paul Trueman, then took the Chair and paid warm tributes to the outgoing Commodore, Tricia Parker, recognising her contribution in all the Flag Officer roles over the last six years, and acknowledging that she would be a hard act to follow.

12 Snipes for the 2024 South Eastern Championships 12 Snipes came together at Blackwater SC on the River Blackwater to compete for the South Easterns on the 5th and 6th October. A bumper entry list in the East Last weekend a fleet of almost 70 Optimist dinghies descended upon Blackwater Sailing Club, for a full weekend of sailing.
