The Lark's 2012 GJW Direct Belle Isle Series continues with an exciting return to our 2006 Nationals venue at Plymouth over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Ah, sea sailing, remember that? The thrill of the surf, the long reaches, the strong steady breezes, the sound of seagulls at 6:00 in the morning... How we miss it.

Well, here's your perfect opportunity to get that fix; Penzance Sailing Club is hosting a GJW Direct Belle Isle Open over weekend of 25th/26th August.

Cannily positioned over the bank holiday weekend, a 12:30 start on Saturday for two back to back races, and three back to back races on Sunday starting at 11:00, should allow plenty of time to make a long weekend of it, and enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer.

The club has a burgeoning and enthusiastic Lark fleet who are pulling out all the stops to ensure visitors have a superb time. There's even a sponsored social, with local firm 'Intersys' kindly paying for a hot local band – 'Dolphin Fly' for the Saturday evening. Cheap accommodation has also been arranged at only £10 per night! (Please give Laura Mitchell a call on 07929082128, to book).

To further save on costs, special parking has been arranged for any double stackers and trailers required.

And all this for a £30 entry fee – which includes a sailors supper on Saturday night! What a bargain.

What more could you want? Great venue, fantastic social, and a warm welcome from one of the friendliest Lark fleets on the circuit – its gonna be a winner!
