Ssangyong Giltinan Championship

A convincing win in 20+ knot conditons for the team of Rob Greenhalgh, Dan Johnson & Peter Greenhalgh on RMW Marine in the Invitational Race before the JJ Giltinan Trophy starts tomorrow in earnest.

The team, who have not competed in the skiffs since winning the JJ Giltinan in Sydney last year dominated the race from the start, winning by a margin of 2 minutes and 48 seconds from second place SX Projects skippered by Matt Felton.

Heat 1 of the Championship will be sailed tomorrow (19 February) with Heat 2 on Sunday.
