Brian Phipps of Windsport presented George Love with a new Mainsail for his Sprint 15 at the Swanage on 10 May. Windsport sponsored the Sprint 15 Traveller events by providing a mainsail to encourage participation in the events.
At each event for a year (including summer events, winter events and both national championships) every entrant was given a raffle ticket. By the time of the final event we had given out 288 raffle tickets and the draw was made for the winner of the mainsail.
The winner was George Love who can be seen receiving his sail from Brian Phipps in the picture.
