Puma Logic, which was awarded with the prestigious ‘RORC Yacht of the Year’ in 2009 for outstanding racing performance has spaces available for both Cork Week and Cowes Week.
Sailing Logic, the successful Southampton based yacht racing sailing school, actively encourages newcomers to the sport and trains experienced racers to a high level. The company is now recruiting for this year’s two major inshore regattas.
Allie Smith, Managing Director of Sailing Logic comments ‘these two regattas provide a fabulous opportunity for anyone to compete aboard a very successful race yacht. Under the professional guidance of Philippe Falle and Tim Thubron, who are two of the most talented racing skippers in the Solent, the teams aboard Puma Logic will have an amazing experience whilst learning a huge amount.’
Puma Logic has recently secured a new sponsor as the Malta Tourism Authority are backing the yachts’ 2010 racing campaign and she is now known as Visit Malta Puma. The funding has enabled Sailing Logic to buy a new wardrobe of North 3DL carbon sails, which is making Visit Malta Puma even faster and more competetive.
With just two races left in the Warsash Spring Series, Visit Malta Puma is positioned in 2nd place in the highly competitive fleet. Last weekend they took line honours with an excellent display of boat speed and tactics.
Philippe Falle will be skippering Visit Malta Puma for Cowes Week and Tim Thubron will be flying the flag at Cork Week. Racing on Visit Malta Puma provides an excellent opportunity to race competitively and learn many new skills. In true Sailing Logic style new comers are also actively encouraged.
