The theme of the Streaker stand at this year’s RYA Volvo Dinghy Show is flexibility. All Streakers conform strictly to the one-design concept, but come along to Stand C28 on Saturday 6th or Sunday 7th March and prepare to be amazed by:
- a choice of hull options – FRP, wooden or composite
- a choice of home-build or professional construction
- a choice of spars
- a choice of sails
- a choice of control systems
- a choice of Laser-style or the new centre mainsheet
- a choice of ages – with competitors ranging from teenagers to octogenarians
- a choice of weights – recommended for 63–83 kg, but anyone can have fun in a Streaker!
At the stand you will also be able to post your entry to the Streaker Competition, which features £500 worth of prizes from Rooster Sailing, Noble Marine Insurance, Butler Boats and Sail Register. The competition prize draw will take place during the show, at 3.30 pm on Sunday 7th March.
