During each day of Skandia Cowes Week Rick gave away his new 2009 Portfolio Calendar to the most photogenic boat or person out on the water.
The winners were:
Friday’s King of Cowes SB3 award went to E-digital Research for a spectacular broach.
Saturday’s award went to the 1720 Boondoggle for the crew uniform.
Plus a special award to Team Origin’s Extreme 40 for the spectacular capsize.
Sunday’s award was to Daiken “going down the mine” off Egypt Point
Monday, the award was to XOD Fantasy for doing a good impression of sinking on the start line off Hill Head.
Tuesday it was Opposition for being beautifully restored and reminding me of the great Alistair Black photography in the 70’s and 80’s
Wednesday – Chernikeef 2 for a great crew action picture.
Thursdays award was to Kerry Gruson for being an amazing person at the helm of her Sonar.
Friday it was the Cowes Week Firework barge for a great firework display!
And finally on Saturday the award went to Louise Morton for having a great smile while surfing down the Solent on the TP52 Rio.
