The Volvo 70 Ericsson blasts down wind at 30 knots off Cape Finisterre, Spain, during a team photo shoot.
These new round-the-world-race 70 footers are incredible machines to photograph - a helicopter is the only realistic way of keeping up with them. They regularly clock more than 500 miles a day, with ABN AMRO 2 setting the world record at 563 miles in 24 hours.
