Hyde has been appointed to supply the full set of sails for Northshore’s new Southerly 32. Launched at London Boat Show in January 2008, and with sales already well into double figures.
The 6 berth Southerly 32 has been designed for family or short handed sailing. With a single line reefing mainsail and a Furling self tacking jib handling is made easy.
Hyde will be supplying the Main and Jib made from Woven Polyester along with a stackaway Boom Cover. All owners also will have the option of the Hyde Furling Gennaker made from 1½oz Spinnaker Nylon.
Hyde Sails have been working with Northshore Yachts for sometime and were able to work from scratch with the team to develop the sails used on the 32 for optimum performance and longevity.
