Almost 20 boats took part in Horning Sailing Club’s Open Downriver Meeting on Sunday. The mixed fleet of Cruisers, YBODs, Yeomans, Rebels and Reedlings sailed in light southerly winds, managing to dodge the rain for the majority of the day.
The Shields Memorial Trophy for Allcomers “A” was won by Bob Hancock crewed by Mark Hughes in Reedling Siskin, whilst the passage back in this class was won by Gerry Hermer in Rebel Sailer.
