British Moth Open at Cam Sailing Club

British Moths from four different Clubs competed at Cam S.C. for the Cam Coffee Pot on September 20th. The morning dawned with a force 2 southerly wind giving a long beat up the river.
In the first race David Parker from the home club won the start to take an early lead which was
never challenged. Grahm Pope (Severn S.C.) took second place with Ricky Benson of the home club third.
The second race was almost a mirror image of the first except the Rick Benson pipped Graham for
second place.
The early leader in the third race was Colin Hall (Hunts S.C. His lead was soon challenged by Parker who came through from a poor start to win the race and the trophy.
