Clipper Ventures Goes On-line with Sailing Wear

Clipper Ventures Plc today announced the on-line availability of The Times Clipper 2000 range of sailing clothing at www.clipper-ventures.com with a 20% discount* for all internet clothing purchases

Recently launched clippertele.com, the internet, e-commerce and telecoms arm of Clipper Ventures, is now providing full on-line e-commerce ordering, payment and shipment services for the new range of Clipper branded speciality clothing which was first displayed to critical acclaim in January at the London Boat Show.

The new clothing range, which has only been available by mail order until today, is specifically geared for sailing and recreational purposes and will be worn by all crew members participating in this year's Times Clipper 2000 Round The World Yacht Race which sets sail from Portsmouth on Sunday 15th October. Designed in-house using the latest styles and accessories and mix and match co-ordinates that are both fashionable and practical, The Times Clipper 2000 range comes in the selected cool colours of black, gunmetal grey and saffron.

From sailing shorts to sailing pants, polar fleece jackets to cotton t-shirts, foul weather clothing and head caps to 3 layer boned fabric high waisted trousers - The Times Clipper 2000 range is designed to suit every weather condition encountered on the high seas, anywhere in the world.

"Our goal has always been to offer e-commerce services to our customers and we are delighted to launch this facility with our clothing range today. Having organised round the world yacht races for five years, we have the major advantage of being backed by the practical experience of clothing and supplies which have been tried and tested in the toughest sailing conditions around the world" commented William Ward, CEO of Clipper Ventures PLC. "Our range has been specifically designed to meet the demands of all those out on the water, whether the conditions are fair-weather or foul." he said.
