Crosby Annual Hangover Handicap Open to be held on 5th January 2014

Crosby SC will hold their Annual Hangover Handicap Open on Sunday 5th January 2014, all are welcome. Three races will be started during the day, two to count. First warning signal will not be before 10.55hrs. The race fee is £5.

Any class of dinghy with a known PY is welcome, anything from an International Canoe and Phantom to Challenger Trimaran and 2.4 keel boats, younger sailors in predominately in Toppers. Bring your own sandwiches and flask of coffee. Local sailors from both sides of the River Mersey very welcome, who may not have organised racing through the winter. Free storage if continue into the Frostbite series.

The racing will continue right throughout the winter until April with the Open Winter Frostbite. Two races per day. Race fee is £2 per day plus £2 lake licence per day. Free boats storage whilst racing at Crosby. Sea water drawn from the Mersey, so unlike inland lakes, should not freeze over when it gets a bit chilly.

Some very understanding other halves Crosby SC held a Club Race Officers course for their members on Valentine's Day. Crosby Hangover Handicap
Some members caught on the hop by earlier start Crosby SC held their Annual Hangover Handicap event on Sunday 4th January. The weather gods played ball. It's not over until the final whistle The final positions for the Phantom North 2014 series, are now published and the prize giving was held at Crosby SC.
