Bourne End Week is the annual regatta of Upper Thames Sailing Club and has been run for over one hundred years.
In 2013 it will be held from Saturday 25th May to Wednesday 29th May.
The regatta is the National Championships for Thames "A" Raters. The following classes of dinghy will be the major participants: OKs, Wayfarers, Merlin Rockets, RS Fevas and Fireflies. There will also be Handicap races. An innovation this year is the introduction of a Classic Fleet for Pre 1985 and under 16 feet dinghies.
All fleets will have a morning and an afternoon race. Invitations to compete are extended to visitors from other sailing clubs.
There will be daily catering and bar facilities and a full social programme, starting with supper on Friday evening and including a new Party Night on Sunday with cocktails, food and entertainment.
Camping will be available adjacent to the club.
The Notice of Race is now available below, or in the Bourne End Week section of our website: http://www.utsc.org.uk/index.php?id=310.
Further details including full details of the social programme, and signing on facilities will be posted as the arrangements are finalised.
