Icicle Series at Tees and Hartlepool Yacht Club - Week 5

The fifth week of the Tees and Hartlepool Yacht Club Icicle series saw the lightest winds experienced by the competitors so far. First to the windward mark in the race one was cadet Michael Lord in his newly acquired Laser.

Series leader Dave Spensley was not hampered in the conditions and re-affirmed his position at the top of the table with two wins.

This was the fifth of eight weekends of racing leading to Christmas with 9 from 16 races to count toward overall honours.
