Azimut in APAC: Azimut Yachts New Zealand powered by the Nautical Group is born

Azimut has appointed The Nautical Group as the exclusive Dealer of the brand in New Zealand, strengthening its presence in the country through a partner dedicated to sales, assistance, and owner support.

Azimut announces the appointment of The Nautical Group as its official Dealer for New Zealand, further expanding its presence in a market distinguished by a strong nautical culture and a growing interest in the yachting experience. Based in Mount Maunganui, Azimut Yachts New Zealand powered by The Nautical Group will support owners with a dedicated offering that integrates sales, technical expertise, and after sales assistance.

Founded and led by James Dalzell, Managing Director with over 15 years of experience as Captain and yacht manager - including years spent at the helm of Azimut Grande Series yachts - The Nautical Group was established with the aim of building long lasting relationships with owners and providing comprehensive support throughout every stage of their journey, from the selection and delivery of the yacht to maintenance and the purchase of their next vessel. This direct and in depth knowledge of the Azimut world and of owners' needs is one of the key strengths of the new Dealer.

The partnership also includes the development of an Azimut showroom, a space designed to bring the brand's identity, Italian design, and the Shipyard's craftsmanship to New Zealand, together with new digital tools and systems dedicated to managing customer requests. To further enhance the ownership experience, The Nautical Group will introduce an aftercare team and an engineering division, with the goal of ensuring qualified and continuous technical support.

Special attention will also be dedicated to strengthening the relationship with current and future Azimut owners in New Zealand. Among the planned initiatives is a welcome program offering six months of monthly yacht inspections, including checks on key onboard systems and maintenance planning. The Dealer will also host private events and on water experiences to bring the local community even closer to the brand, in line with Azimut's philosophy of placing owners at the center and offering them exclusive opportunities to engage with the Azimut world.

"New Zealand is a highly strategic market for Azimut, where a deeply rooted nautical culture offers significant growth opportunities. Our partnership with The Nautical Group allows us to establish a solid local presence through a partner with extensive yachting expertise and a strong customer centric approach," comments Enrico Chiaussa, Chief Commercial Officer EMEA APAC at Azimut.

"We're very excited to be representing Azimut Yachts in New Zealand and to give our clients the opportunity to experience the brand both here at home and in Italy," says James Dalzell, Managing Director of The Nautical Group.

With the addition of The Nautical Group to its network, Azimut reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its international presence through a qualified Dealer network capable of combining deep knowledge of local markets with a shared vision of the yachting experience and owner service.

Azimut reinforces its presence in Mexico with Azimut Yachts Mexico powered by performance boats

Azimut has appointed Performance Boats as its official Dealer in Mexico, renewing a long-standing relationship and strengthening its presence in one of the most important yachting markets in the Americas.

Azimut announces the appointment of Performance Boats as its official Dealer for Mexico, marking the beginning of a new phase in a relationship that has played a significant role in the development of the brand in the country.

Through this partnership, Mexican owners will have full access to Azimut's entire range of motor yachts, from the holistic Seadeck to the iconic Fly and revolutionary Magellano Series, supported by comprehensive, personalized care across every stage of the ownership experience.

Founded in 1991, Performance Boats shares a long-standing history with Azimut, having delivered the brand's first yacht in Mexico back in 1994. Today, the organization returns to represent the brand with a strategic footprint spanning key destinations across the Mexican Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Pacific / Sea of Cortez.

To best assist its owners in Mexico, Azimut chose Performance Boats for its extensive vertically integrated network of marinas, dry-storage facilities, sales offices and service centers. This robust infrastructure ensures that every yacht delivery is backed by dedicated local assistance and long-term care, in line with Azimut's core values.

Furthermore, to support the brand's ongoing expansion, strategic investments are planned throughout the region, including the development of a new marina in Cancún, a dedicated sales point in Puerto Cancún, and new sales and service facilities in Veracruz and La Paz (Baja California Sur).

"We are very pleased to welcome Performance Boats back to our dealer network in Mexico. Our two companies share a successful history and a strong heritage built together over the years, making this renewed partnership especially meaningful. This is more than the beginning of a new chapter - it is a reunion of two strong brands with a shared vision for the future. We look forward to building on the success we have achieved together and continuing that story in Mexico," comments Federico Ferrante, President at Azimut Benetti Americas.

"Some partnerships are timeless. Our relationship with Azimut goes back many years and is deeply rooted in a shared passion for yachting and customer care. We are proud to once again represent a brand that has helped shape the Mexican market and look forward to supporting current and future owners with an even stronger organization and broader national reach," says Javier Aboumrad of Performance Boats.
