Important update about the GWA Wingfoil World Championship Morocco 2026

The GWA regrets to announce that the GWA Wingfoil World Championships, scheduled for 6-11 October 2026 in Dakhla, Morocco, will no longer take place. The cancellation is the result of circumstances beyond anyone's control. Everyone involved worked hard to bring the event together, and the decision was not taken lightly. The GWA understands how disappointing this news is for the athletes, partners, and fans who were preparing for the season finale.

The GWA is now working closely with athletes, partners, and stakeholders on the next steps.

The GWA thanks all sponsors for their continued support and all athletes and fans for their patience.

Further updates will be shared on www.wingfoilworldtour.com and across the GWA's social channels.
