Two new Caribbean models will take centre stage at the Melbourne Boat Show, as the iconic Australian boating brand returns.

Reimagined by respected boat builder and founder of Maritimo motor yachts, Bill Barry-Cotter for a new generation of adventurous Australian boaters, the new Caribbean 40 Flybridge Cruiser (40F) and Caribbean 27 Flybridge (27F) were launched to international acclaim at the 2026 Sanctuary Cove boat show in May.

Established in Melbourne in 1958, Caribbean boats have earned an enviable reputation for their offshore capability, quality construction and enduring appeal.

Now, building on that classic Caribbean heritage that has defined the brand for close to 70 years, the reborn Caribbean 40F and 27F represent the next era in engineering, technology, design and styling.

Running 15 to 18 October at Docklands, the 2026 Melbourne Boat Show will give visitors the opportunity to step aboard Caribbean's latest models which combine the brand's proven deep-V hull design and offshore pedigree with contemporary layouts, increased comfort and the versatility demanded by modern boating families and fishing enthusiasts.

Caribbean 40F Flybridge Cruiser: A versatile flybridge cruiser that can be configured for serious offshore fishing or comfortable cruising and recreation. The 40F offers a spacious cockpit, generous range and refined interior, with a range of options to tailor the boat for fishing, cruising or family adventures.

Caribbean 27F Flybridge: The Caribbean 27F carries forward the brand's hard-earned fishing DNA in a compact, highly capable offshore package. The 27F is equipped with 300 horsepower outboard engines.

Sean Savage, Director of Distribution for Maritimo and Caribbean, said the company is excited to host the re-release of the first two Caribbean models proudly designed and made by Maritimo.

"It's incredibly satisfying to be taking the Caribbean 40F and 27F to Melbourne Boat Show, in the state which has always been the biggest supporter of the brand. We have kept the Caribbean DNA intact while introducing 21st century comforts and amenities on board, building on a proud legacy as we take the brand into a new era."

Visitors will be able to meet with Caribbean brand representatives and experience for themselves the next wave of offshore-capable motor yachts from this iconic Australian brand.

Caribbean will exhibit at stands C19 and C20 on C Arm of the marina.
