2026 OK Dinghy Autumn Trophy at Bandol, France - Day 2

Matt Howard has taken the lead at the OK Dinghy Autumn Trophy in Bandol, France, after three races were held from 10.00 before the strong afternoon winds arrived. Tim Petetin is down to second with Charlie Cumbley up to third.
With racing held well within the bay and using its whole width, the races were short and tricky with a lot of shifts coming off the Bandol shore. Already outside the bay, the waves were steep, and the wind built through the morning from 10-12 knots up to 20-24 knots. Later on, it got really windy.
The first race of the day was the hardest with bigger shifts and pressure changes. Dave Bourne came out of the left to lead all the way for the win, while Howard rounded top five but moved up to second. Howard then won the next two races as the wind built, with both the left and the right paying at times.
Racing continues Friday with a similar forecast, while the event ends on Saturday.
