Rooster Sailing is proud to support the world's leading ILCA sailors as Official Clothing Sponsor of the 2026 ILCA World Championships in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland.

The partnership brings Rooster to the heart of two of the most prestigious championships in the ILCA calendar: the ILCA 7 Men's World Championship, taking place from 23-30 August, followed by the ILCA 6 Women's World Championship from 5-12 September.

For Rooster, the partnership represents more than providing clothing for an event. It is an opportunity to support the sailors, coaches, volunteers and event teams who come together to deliver championship sailing at the highest level.

As Official Clothing Sponsor, Rooster will provide event and technical clothing, support the championship prize programme and operate a Rooster shop on site throughout the championships, giving competitors and their support teams direct access to the brand's technical sailing range.

Luke Morrison, Managing Director of Rooster Sailing, said:

"The ILCA World Championships represent exactly the kind of sailing that Rooster is proud to be part of. These are sailors operating at the highest level of the sport, where preparation, performance and reliability matter in every detail.

"Rooster has always been closely connected to the sailing community, and being able to support the ILCA class at World Championship level is something we're genuinely proud of. We're looking forward to being there throughout the championships and supporting the fleet both on and off the water."

The championships will bring together competitors from across the world, with the ILCA 7 fleet alone attracting entries from more than 40 nations. For Rooster, the event provides an opportunity to put its technical clothing into the hands of sailors competing at the highest level, while supporting the wider community that surrounds the class.

Rooster has built its reputation around developing technical clothing for sailors, designed and tested in the environments in which it is used. Its involvement in the ILCA World Championships reflects that continued commitment to supporting sailing across the sport, from grassroots participation through to international competition.

The Rooster team will be based at the championship venue throughout the event, with support from local dealer Viking Marine, providing a hub for competitors and the wider sailing community. Alongside the event shop, the team will be available to offer product support, technical advice and assistance to sailors and their support teams.

For Rooster, supporting the ILCA World Championships is a natural progression of its longstanding commitment to competitive sailing and to the sailors who continue to push the sport forward.

At the highest level of the sport, Rooster is proud to be there.
