Derecktor Announces Partnership with Teakdecking Systems

by Derecktor Shipyards 8 May 16:12 BST

Derecktor is pleased to announce a partnership with Teakdecking Systems (TDS), a globally recognized leader in premium teak and composite decking.

The two companies share a commitment to quality work and dependable project delivery, and a track record of successful collaboration. By bringing TDS into the fold as an inhouse partner and hosting them directly within our Dania shipyard, Derecktor strengthens its ability to execute complex refit and repair scopes with better coordination, more reliable timelines, and greater pricing confidence for owners, captains, and management teams.

Working more closely together, both teams will align earlier in the project lifecycle, covering planning, estimating, and scheduling before work begins. Clients can expect cleaner communication between yard and specialty contractor, more accurate forecasting, and faster decision-making from estimate through delivery.

The partnership is effective immediately, with Teakdecking Systems operating on-site at Derecktor’s facility and integrated planning already underway across upcoming projects.
