Northampton Sailing Club Open Day Preview

Northampton Sailing Club is holding its annual open day on Saturday 2nd May from 11am - 4pm. Anyone interested in water sports can find out what the club has to offer.

Come along for a full family day of fun, try new activities and talk to club members. Enjoy some food and drink and soak up the atmosphere.

If you've never done it before, or want to pick up where you left off, come along and try sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding and/or canoe/kayaking - all weather dependent of course! The last booking is at 3.30pm - bring a change of clothes, a towel and some suitable water shoes.

There will also be sailing demonstrations, boat displays and you can have a go at sailing while on dry land on the RYA Sailing Simulator!

Northampton Sailing Club offers dinghy racing, casual sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing and wing-foiling for people of all ages. It is an RYA (Royal Yachting Association) approved training centre, offering courses in windsurfing, sailing and powerboating.

Northampton Sailing Club is a family-friendly club and members range from absolute beginners to Youth, National and World Champions.

Pitsford Reservoir is a large, 600 acre reservoir with outstanding views. You can sail every day from dawn to dusk, with racing organised all year round on Sundays and on Thursday evenings from April to September.

Entry and car parking is free, there will be plenty of fun activities for all the family and the bar and galley will be open for refreshments.
