After 12 races during French Olympic Week, the second event of the Sailing Grand Slam, the top 10 teams have been selected. The best sailors from the fleet will compete tomorrow in two Medal Series.

Today's races were slightly postponed due to light and shifty winds in the morning. Eventually, the breeze picked up and two races were completed. The Spanish team remains unstoppable and is very close to victory. Jordi Xammar and Marta Cardona already have a 12-point advantage over the second-placed crew, Martin Wrigley and Bettine Harris. Both teams performed strongly today and have consistently held top positions throughout the week.

In third place are Matisse Pacaud and Lucie De Gennes, followed closely by Giacomo Ferrari and Alessandra Dubbini. The heroes of the day are the Italians, who won both races and climbed from 8th to 4th place. In fifth place are Beatriz Gago and Rodolfo Pires, who also had a successful day.

"Today we had around 10 knots of wind. In the first race, we sailed the first upwind without pumping, and then the Oscar flag was displayed mid-race. We finished eighth, it was okay, and we had a good start," said Beatriz Gago.

"In the last race, we had a good start, and the Oscar flag was up from the beginning. We reached the top mark in third place and managed to overtake one boat on the second upwind, finishing second. We are happy, the points are now very tight ahead of the medal race. Let's see, tomorrow should be exciting," she added.

Points are now calculated as follows:
