Calling all yachties! Round up your crew because the Southern Hemisphere's largest marine event, the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), is hitting the Gold Coast from 21-24 May with its most show-stopping line-up yet. 45,000 lavish lifestyle seekers and boating aficionados are set to descend onto the sparkling Sanctuary Cove marina for ultimate yacht-spotting and luxury shopping.

With over 300 exhibitors showcasing jaw-dropping fleets, and over 800 dazzling vessels on display, curating the perfect SCIBS itinerary is no easy feat. That's why we've had all hands-on deck to round up the hottest yacht displays to check out during your SCIBS visit (in between bottomless champagne brunching and wine tastings, of course).

The Thailand International Boat Show, a Luxury Lifestyle Event has secured a strategic investment from Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, marking a long-term commitment to grow the show in Thailand and strengthen its position as a leading platform for the yachting industry in Asia Pacific. This new collaboration reflects a shared vision for Phuket Yacht Haven Marina — the largest marina in Phuket — to be the long-term home of the Thailand International Boat Show, leveraging its scale and capacity both in the water and on land.

Meet the Marinas26 exhibitors: 56 booths showcasing the full spectrum of marina products, services, innovation, and expertise, all in one place. The Marinas26 Exhibition is shaping up to be one of the most diverse and comprehensive showcases the industry has ever seen. You'll experience a true cross section of the marina sector, bringing together the full spectrum of people who support modern marina operations.

Whether you're chasing snapper on the shallows, dreaming of blue water game fishing or perfecting your surfcasting technique, the Shimano Masterclass Series at the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show is the place to sharpen your skills — straight from the pros who live and breathe it. One of the show's most popular features, it brings together some of New Zealand's most respected fishing names for a packed programme of free seminars running across all four days of the show, 14-17 May at the Auckland Showgrounds.

The Australian Commercial Marine Group (ACMG), in partnership with MERC Asia-Pacific Ltd (MERC), hosted the Hunter Forum on 14 April at Newcastle Harbour, bringing together key industry stakeholders to explore the development of a proposed marine innovation precinct in the region. Held at the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club, the forum provided a valuable platform for discussion on leveraging Newcastle's deep-water access and strategic location to support future growth across the commercial marine sector.

Marine Australia Solutions secures the first of the premium Marine Showrooms. A new chapter in Australia's leading marine maintenance and refit facility is under way, with the start of construction yet again on Pier 25 - the next purpose-built landmark within The Boat Works which will become headquarters to the industry's most ambitious operators. Positioned at the entrance of The Boat Works' northern superyacht yard, Pier 25 is an architect-designed, multi-storey development that will deliver a premium mix of marine showrooms, professional office suites, and crew accommodation.

The Yacht Sales Co will present a premium line-up of sail and power cruising yachts at SCIBS, headlined by three Asia-Pacific premieres: the new Fountaine Pajot FP44, Dufour 54 and Dufour 41. Following strong global interest since their recent international debuts, the three models are expected to attract significant attention from Asia-Pacific buyers, reflecting growing demand for performance-led cruising yachts across a range of ownership profiles.

Vessev, the technology company designing and building leading-edge electric passenger vessels, announced the launch of a new hydrofoiling network in Hobart, Australia, marking a major step in using waterways as an efficient, scalable, zero-emissions layer of urban transport. Fly Derwent, a new clean energy transport venture, will use Vessev's VS-9, with expansion to a fleet of VS-12 vessels, without requiring major new infrastructure. Powered by Tasmania's world-leading renewable grid, which runs on approximately 100% renewable electricity including hydrogeneration, wind and solar, the service is designed to deliver one of the lowest-emissions commuter transport models globally.
