Organizers of Antigua Sailing Week 2026 are proud to announce an impressive show of support from a wide cross-section of Antiguan businesses, reinforcing the event's deep-rooted connection to the local community and its importance on the island's sporting and cultural calendar.

In addition to the strong support from the Antigua Barubda Tourism Authority, a number of valued partners have already confirmed their commitment to the 2026 edition, highlighting continued confidence in the evolution and impact of Antigua Sailing Week.

The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) will present the highly anticipated Opening Party on Wednesday 22 April, setting the tone for the week with a vibrant cultural showcase. This signature event will welcome participants to the island with speeches, and entertainment celebration in the Antiguan tradition.

Long-standing supporter synonymous with the spirit and celebration of sailing in Antigua Antigua Distillery Ltd, along with the local Heineken distributor Anjo Wholesale are back on board for 2026. Their continued involvement ensures that competitors and spectators alike will once again enjoy the authentic tastes of English Harbour Rum and Heineken throughout the week's festivities.

Safety remains a top priority for the regatta, and organizers are pleased to welcome the Antigua and Barbuda Ship and Yacht Registry as the official Safety Sponsor. Their support underscores a shared commitment to maintaining the highest standards on and off the water.

Catherine's Café, hosts of Wednesdays daytime social event 'Play Day', have also recruited the renowned champagne house Palmer & Co. Participants will get to experience this exceptional product at the pop-up champagne bar during the Riddim & Tides beach festival at Ffryes Beach.

APUA INET are back as the communications sponsors and ensuring that the team remain connected through the week. This year, as we sail around the island this is particularly important as all of the communications will be digital by whats app for competitors and partygoers.

Harpers Office Depot continues its generous support of the annual School Arts Competition, continuing to invest in the next generation—empowering them to think creatively while engaging with the sailing community. First time supporters Signpro Antigua have also come on board to supply event branding, signage & trophies.

"These partnerships reflect the strength of local support for Antigua Sailing Week and the pride our business community takes in showcasing Antigua & Barbuda to the world," said organizer Rana-Jamila Lewis. "As we continue to evolve the event format, it's incredibly meaningful to have our local stakeholders alongside us, helping to deliver an unforgettable experience both onshore and offshore."

With Antigua Sailing Week 2026 now a little over a week away, anticipation is building across the island and beyond as this year's event marks an exciting return to a multi-venue, around-the-island format. Teams will be journeying along Antigua's coastline and experiencing a series of unique destinations after departing Nelson's Dockyard on April 23. Scheduled stops include the un-spoilt Green Island, the newly developed Maiden Island and the stunning shores of Ffryes Beach, offering a dynamic blend of sailing, discovery and shoreside celebrations. As final preparations ramp up, the strength of local sponsorship highlights the pride and commitment of Antigua & Barbuda's business community in delivering a world-class experience both onshore and offshore.

Registration for the 57th Antigua Sailing Week will take place on April 22 at Nelson's Dockyard starting at 9am. The current entry list can be viewed here.
