2026 Skelcon Australian 16ft & 13ft Skiff Championships at Belmont 16s Sailing Club - Day 4

Champagne conditions on Belmont Bay today at the 2026 Skelcon 16 ft & 13ft Australian Skiff Championship, with a small-rig north-easterly providing a spectacular course.

Belmont Bay showed exactly why it is regarded as one of Australia's premier sailing venues, offering good visibility for competitors and spectators alike.

In Heats 6 and 7, for the 16ft Skiffs Olympic gold medallist Tom Burton of Belmont skippered Shade to Order crossed the line first on both occasions, with Sarah Lee sailing Bosker Build home in second place in each race, putting Shade to Order in front by one point overall.
