Award-winning creative digital out-of-home studio, DOOH.com, is proud to announce its sponsorship of GBR Blind Sailing as they prepare to compete at the World Sailing Inclusion Visually Impaired Championships in Oman this December.

The sponsorship will help GBR Blind Sailing, a charity that trains, supports, and empowers visually impaired sailors, the opportunity to compete at the highest levels of international sport.

The partnership holds special meaning for DOOH.com, as Blind Sailing holds the same values the company strives to embody. At its core, DOOH.com is committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity and authenticity. Just as Blind Sailing helps visually impaired individuals experience freedom, confidence, and connection, DOOH.com aims to create work and a workplace that celebrate openness and possibility.

The partnership also marks a meaningful continuation of a relationship that began years ago between DOOH.com CEO Andrew Newman and Lucy Hodges MBE, one of the UK's most decorated sailors and a trailblazer in inclusive sport.

Andrew Newman, CEO at DOOH.com: "I'll never forget that moment, I stepped onto a boat not knowing that Lucy, who is visually impaired, was at the helm. The skill, confidence, and teamwork were inspiring, and Lucy's leadership is something I'll never forget. What I saw that day completely changed my perspective and drove me to learn more about her story.

"Through this sponsorship, we wanted to give back to a charity in a personal way, reaching the blind community not through screens, but through support and action.

"Most of all, at DOOH.com, passion, creativity and communication are at the heart of everything we do. This partnership isn't just about sport, it's also about inclusion, teamwork, and seeing the world differently. That's something we're honoured to stand behind."

Lucy Hodges MBE, Commodore of GBR Blind Sailing: "This sponsorship means the world to our team. As a small charity, we work hard to create life-changing moments for blind and partially sighted sailors, giving them the chance to represent our country out on the water.

"This support ensures that all our boats can have their two sighted sailors on board, who play a vital role in helping to 'paint the picture' of the racecourse and guide the crew to success.

"DOOH.com creates awareness and advertising through pictures we may not always see, but we experience these moments through our sighted guides and the technology that helps us leave home and explore the world. With this support, we'll be representing GBR and showing that the most powerful pictures are the ones you hold in your mind."
