M32 World Championship at Shake-A-Leg Miami - Day 3

by M32 World 22 Nov 08:29 GMT November 17-22, 2025

Spotlight on Surge. Ryan McKillen's team in teal delivered a commanding 1-1-1-2-3 performance across five races on Biscayne Bay.

With just eight points across five races, Surge posted the lowest single-day score of the championship so far. TUUCI also impressed, tallying just 12 points—well below the top day-totals of 18 and 15 from earlier in the regatta. These two teams are setting themselves apart.

"Happy to be leading and sitting on top. It's tight, of course, and it will remain tight," said McKillen. "I expect there may be some changes between now and the end of the event, but we're going to do our best to hang on up there. I'm happy with the way we've sailed so far." McKillen gives props to his team including Taylor Canfield, Sam Loughborough, Stewart Dodson, and Luke Payne.

TUUCI sits in second place, just seven points behind the leader. "Our focus is to maximize top five finishes. We want to make sure to secure a good position," said CT Olander this morning. "Our goal is to not change anything and keep it cool."

Third position is held by ChinaOne.Ningbo helmed by Phil Robertson. “Our team haven’t sailed together much, so each race we’re getting better and better,” said team manager Craig Monk.

TUUCI capped the day with one of the best M32 parties in years—featuring hand-rolled cigars, domino games, and signature BACARDÍ cocktails.

15 races down, just four to go. Tomorrow, it all comes down to the wire. Who will be the ones popping champagne?
