The fleet was treated to a full spectrum of conditions over the weekend, beginning with a fresh northeast breeze on Day One. Winds ranged from 8-15 knots, settling at around a punchy 12-14 knots for the opening race. Dylan and Ed took immediate control, winning the pin and converting their strong start into a commanding victory in Race 1.

Race 2 began much the same, but a fading breeze in the middle stages reshuffled the fleet. Ben and Tom read the softening pressure, stretching out to claim the race win. As the wind continued to ease, races 3 and 4 became a test of finesse and patience. Lila and Amelie rose to the challenge, displaying impressive light-air pace and securing back-to-back bullets to close the day.

Day Two arrived with colder, windier breeze from the northeast rewarding the teams that could handle the power. Jac and Ben were among those who thrived, executing a clean and confident performance to lead every leg of Race 5 and take the win. Race 6 brought larger shifts across the course, but Ben and Tom managed them well, slipping ahead early and securing their second victory of the weekend.

By Race 7, tactical discipline was proving just as vital as raw speed. Dylan and Ed made the crucial call at the top of the course, nailing the key shift and earning their second bullet. The final race delivered a dramatic finish: Ed and Kai crossed the line first but were unfortunately disqualified, handing the win—and a well-earned second victory of the day—to Ben and Jac.

When the points were tallied, it was Dylan and Ed who claimed the overall weekend title, showcasing consistency and sharp decision-making across all conditions. Close behind in second were Jac and Ben, whose strong form on Day Two kept the pressure on. Ben and Tom rounded out the podium in third, their solid, steady performance proving decisive which complete the full Welsh sailors podium.

A weekend of shifting winds, tight racing, and standout moments — exactly the kind of competition that brings out the best in the fleet.
